Hey Zuri I can just imagine blacks being treated in damp basement and filthy attics risking infectins. It was a good thing they did get their own thing.

Yes it was a terrible situation to say the least. Blacks were thrown in unsanitary conditions, segregated against even after slavery. They often didn't heal well because of this. The Black hospital soon became independent in hiring and training Black doctors. Thanx for posting another historical figure. :-)
