RA was often lauded as "Lord of the Circles" and as "he who entereth (or liveth) in the circle. " He was described as the sendver forth of light into his circle and as Governor of (his) circle." Worship His local cult began to grow from the second dynasty, establishing RA as a sun deity. By fourth dynasty the pharoahs were seen to be RA manifestation on earth, referred to "Sons of RA". His worship increased massively in the forth dynasty, when he became a state deity and pharoahs had a specific aligned pyramids, obelisks, and solar temples built in his honor. The first Pyramid Text begn to rise, giving more significance in the journey of the pharoah underworld. The middle Kingdoom saw RA being increasingly combined and affiliated with other deities , especially Amun and during The New Kingdom , the worship became more complicateed and grand.

This made sun deities very important to Egyptians, and it is no concidence that the sun came to be the ruler of all. In his myths, the sun was either seen as the body or Eye of Ra.
