Imhotep is one of my favorite Egyptian Kings of all the Dynasties. Glad you postedn him because, I just learnt something I never knew before.
Imhotep was worshipped by early christians , as one with Christ.
Also, early christians adapted to their pagan forms and persons, who had influence through the ages.
Those that had woven itself so powerful into tradition, they couldn't omit them.
